“ Food and service superb. So many times people give pub food five stars when it's average but this is well above. Beef was tender and plentiful and butternut squash and beetroot wellington was very tasty. Lemon and lime posset both tart and sweet and plum crumble had to be eaten without custard as it was so tasty. A wonderful Sunday lunch and attentive service, thank you. ”

I had the beef massaman curry and it was genuinely one of the best curries I've ever had. My wife had the steak frites dish and was also equally impressed. We had 3 courses and I can honestly say each was as good as the other. I can't remember the last time I left a restaurant feeling overwhelmed with the whole experience and would highly recommend anyone to go. We were made to feel very welcome, were well looked after and the cost of our 3 courses and wine was very reasonable and worth every penny for the flavours alone! We will definitely be back again soon. It is fantastic that we have this venue within the village. Keep up the good work! ”
